Google announced today that they are releasing a iPhone application. With the help of AJAX (a web browser technology) the website now determine if an iPhone is viewing www.google.com and thus directs the user to s specialized iPhone Google website. The interface allows a user to switch between the Google search, Gmail, Calendar and other features.

The visual voicemail utilized by the Apple iPhone and AT&T network have been questioned for infringement on Klausner’s voicemail patents says Reuters. Klausner Technologies Inc filed a $360 million lawsuit Monday. It is over U.S. patent 5,572,576 which is the same patent Vonage Holding Corp. had lawsuit brought against them in 2006 which was settled out of court.

The keynote address held during MacWorld 2008 on Tuesday Jan. 15 at 9:00am PST will be hosted by Apple Inc. CEO - Steve Jobs.There isn’t much of a surprise as he has done so the last several years. However, major product announcements usually are made during his presentations. Maybe it’s time for 2nd gen iPhone, or something brand new a touch screen laptop? Buy into Apple prior to the announcement… historically you will be well rewarded.
