Weekly Review of Portfolio Trades
AppleOption Short-Term Portfolio
It was a busy week for the Short-Term Portfolio! The STP patiently waited till Wednesday to Take Out Callers as Apple became range bound around $185. With the money the STP made from these trades we entered a new long call. It only took two days for this position to gain 37.5% at which point we collected our profit! In the meantime, Apple rallied to allow the portfolio to sell covers heading into the WWDC. The STP even took a chance with Puts bought Thursday before the close and exited Friday morning with a quick $400 gain! Our last attempt for the week was an unsuccessful effort tobuy puts. All in all, a fantastic week for the Short-Term Portfolio.
AppleOption Long-Term Portfolio
The LTP took advantage of similar opportunities that the STP capitalized on. Wednesday, the LTP took out callers gaining $1,740. The portfolio then re-sold calls to create an excellent balance between delta and theta heading into the WWDC weekend. The LTP continues to grow in a safe slow manner on a good track for the year!
